Fellowship grants are provided to individuals who reside in the United States or abroad, students and non-students alike, with a demonstrated ability in the subject matter for which the individual is applying for a fellowship. For US-based Fellowships, preference will be given to individuals residing in New Jersey and will be provided directly to individuals or to the registered institutions with which they are affiliated.
General Information
Program Parameters, Criteria & Selection Process:
The Fellowship grants will be awarded on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis to students, professors, NGO leaders, artists, athletes, academics, public health workers, etc. for the purpose of achieving a specific objective, producing a report or other similar product like a presentation or research paper, or improving or enhancing a literary, medical, artistic, scientific, teaching, cultural or another similar capacity, skill, or talent of the grantee. In addition, we envision awarding such Fellowships to:
-
Support those who want to further pursue research and academic career development to the benefit of their community through training, conferences, and seminars;
-
Foster professional exchange among participants, scholars, researchers, artists, public health specialists, change-makers, community leaders, scientists, athletes, through event participation, be it a conference, seminar, exhibition, or competition;
-
Improve or enhance a literary, artistic, musical, scientific, teaching, cultural, or another similar capacity, skill or talent of the grantee.
Applicants will be considered based on academic achievement and/or work experience, financial need, third-party recommendations, and evidence of the individual’s motivation, standing, character, ability and potential drawn from these recommendations.
A preference for a Fellowship Award will be given to individuals resident in New Jersey, predominately from Ocean and Monmouth Counties, and to individuals of Armenian descent.
